Contract Overview

Belov Engenharia has secured new contracts with Petrobras to supply four shallow diving support vessels (SDSVs) for operations offshore Brazil. These contracts, valued at approximately 2.7 billion reais ($514.5 million), have a duration of four years.

Vessel Details

The contracts cover three existing vessels—the Belov Amaralina, Belov Humaita, and Belov Cidade Ouro Preto—and one newbuild, the Belov Arembepe. The Belov Arembepe is currently under construction at the company's shipyard in Bahia state, with delivery scheduled for the second half of 2027.

Strategic Context and Purpose

This initiative by Petrobras follows a tender issued last year to partially replenish its fleet. The vessels, which are equipped with state-of-the-art technology, will be deployed for inspection and maintenance services on Petrobras offshore platforms. The contracts are seen as a significant step toward ensuring operational stability for the fleet over the next five years.
