Halliburton, a US energy services provider, has announced the appointment of Casey Maxwell as President for the Western Hemisphere, effective 1 February.

Background and Appointment

Casey Maxwell, who joined Halliburton in 2006, is currently the Senior Vice President for North America Land. He will be succeeding Mark Richard in the role.

Leadership Experience

According to a company statement from Chief Operating Officer Shannon Slocum, Maxwell brings extensive operational and leadership experience to the position, having previously managed Halliburton's business in key regions such as the Permian Basin and Argentina.

Succession

Mark Richard, the outgoing president for the Western Hemisphere, has been promoted to the role of Senior Adviser to Chief Executive Officer Jeff Miller.
