Following a recent leadership transition, Prosafe, an offshore accommodation specialist, has appointed Halvdan Kielland as its interim Chief Financial Officer.

Leadership Changes

The appointment of the interim CFO follows the promotion of the company's former Chief Financial Officer, Reese McNeel, to the role of Chief Executive Officer. McNeel had been serving as the interim CEO since August, following the resignation of the former chief executive, Terje Askvig. His position as CEO was made permanent earlier this month.

Interim CFO Role

Halvdan Kielland's new role is effective immediately. He will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations while Prosafe conducts a search for a permanent Chief Financial Officer to fill the position.
