Scope of Work

The work will specifically target deeper reservoirs characterized as technically demanding due to high temperatures, high pressure, and the presence of sour hydrocarbons. The company notes it is already familiar with the field's subsurface conditions.

According to an SLB executive, the company is assuming end-to-end responsibility to support safe and reliable execution in these complex reservoir conditions as the field's development progresses. This announcement marks SLB's second major contract announcement in the Middle East within about a week, following a recent pair of five-year contracts for services in Oman.
