John Evans will retire as chief executive of Subsea7 on 30 June. He will be succeeded from 1 July by Stuart Fitzgerald, the current chief executive of Seaway7, which is part of the Subsea7 Group. The board intends to propose Evans's appointment as a company director at the annual general meeting on 12 May.

Paul Johnson has assumed the role of executive vice president of operations at Transocean. Promethean Energy, a US late life assets operator, appointed Martyn Fear as its chief operating officer. At Singapore-based Energy Drilling, Luc Plouzennec was appointed as the new chief executive.
