The latest release package of nv.planning now includes the update, which was successfully installed at our Client’s.

The update presents the innovative "Personnel on Board" module. The module aims to improve planning efficiency for personnel transportation and accommodation at offshore oil production platforms. The system now features a highly accessible Gantt chart, perfect for illustrating scheduled activities, along with displaying the required number of personnel for every operation. Furthermore, the system now features an immediate display of daily POB including the current status of available accommodations as well as incoming and outgoing vehicles. Personnel allocation to vehicles and sleeping quarters can be managed by either manual input or automatically. The optimization algorithm has undergone improvements as well, now also considering personnel accommodation restrictions.

The implemented feature empowers our Client to conduct effective operational planning by taking into account the existing resources and the constraints related to personnel-on-board availability. As a direct consequence, this leads to lowered operational costs, thus improving the overall planning efficiency.
