NewVision Upstream participated in the KOGS 2026 conference, sharing its approach to optimizing well design workflows. During the technical session, the paper “New Approach for Electrical Submersible Pump Equipment Design: AI-Powered Precision and Engineering Efficiency Tool,” developed by the company’s engineering and R&D team, was presented by Makhida Makhambetova.
The presentation outlined an integrated methodology for Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) system design, combining conventional engineering practices with artificial intelligence tools. The approach focuses on improving calculation accuracy, reducing manual effort, and supporting more consistent and reliable engineering decisions. Particular attention was given to data structuring, automated processing, operational risk assessment, and equipment selection optimization within a unified workflow.
