NewVision Expands Footprint in Oman with New Joint Venture and Digital Platform Showcase at OPES 2026
May 2026
Muscat, Oman - NewVision Upstream has summarized the results of its participation in the Oman Petroleum & Energy Show (OPES) 2026, one of the region’s key industry events, held in Muscat from May 18 to 20.
According to the organizers and the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre, the exhibition brought together more than 30,000 energy industry professionals, while visitors had access to solutions presented by 300+ local and international exhibitors.
| During the exhibition, NewVision presented its NV platform, which brings together four products: nv.EBS, nv.Design, nv.ID and nv.DIFA. The platform is designed to cover the full spectrum of artificial lift tasks - from monitoring and analytics to engineering modeling, equipment lifecycle management, and failure analysis. Throughout the event, the team conducted numerous live demonstrations at the stand, showcasing real product use cases based on actual data and demonstrating how digital tools can support more accurate diagnostics, better decision-making, and greater operational resilience. The company’s materials also describe NV as a platform approach combining real-time analytics, well modelling & lift design, inventory & lifecycle control, as well as reliability & failure analysis. | PHOTO |
| A separate strategic outcome of the exhibition was the signing of an agreement to establish a joint venture with RAS AL HAMRA LLC in Oman. NewVision had previously publicly announced the signing of a Joint Venture agreement with RAS AL HAMRA LLC. This decision strengthens NewVision’s local presence in the country and creates a new foundation for long-term market development - not only as an international technology provider, but also as a company with a local operating and partnership structure through the joint entity. Participation in OPES 2026 confirmed that operators in the region are particularly interested in solutions that combine engineering expertise, data analytics, and practical production applicability within a single digital framework. This is exactly the demand that the NewVision platform addresses: not as a standalone tool for a single task, but as an integrated suite of products capable of supporting key artificial lift processes at different stages. |
Alexander Gorlov, CEO of NewVision Upstream:
“For us, OPES 2026 was not just an exhibition, but a platform for meaningful meetings, demonstrating the real capabilities of our platform, and making important strategic decisions. We saw strong interest in practical digital products that help solve real production challenges, and we took an important step in NewVision’s development in Oman through the creation of a joint venture with Ras Al Hamra.”
