Entering input data for elements

To configure model parameters, enter input data for each system object. Data is entered in the corresponding object properties selected in the Object navigator.

The data-entry process includes the following steps:

1.Select the required object in the Object navigator (for example, Wells, Pipelines, or Separators).

2.In the Graphical interface, open the properties pane of the corresponding object.

3.Fill in the required parameters in the input fields. Values can be entered manually or imported from external files using Import.

4.After entering the data, check that the parameters are correct in Drawing the system or run a Model calculation to check the results.

For bulk data entry or matching the system to historical values, use specialized tools such as Matching the system to actual data.
