Matching the system to actual data using pipeline correction factors

You can change pipeline correction factors on the General information tab by switching the settings type to Local and entering the modified factors.

According to the calculation results, the tubing head pressure at the wellhead (WH_1A) is 36.83 atm. The actual pressure is 37.7 atm.

1.To match the actual pressure, open the pipeline object window WH_1A > Manifold_A and change the MPF settings type to Local. After that, the cells become available for input, which allows you to change the friction correction (from 1 to 2).

2.Run a snapshot calculation of the model without optimization. Based on the calculation results, assess the effect of the changes on the system (the calculated tubing head pressure is 37.705 atm, which matches the actual value).

3.In the same way, match the remaining pipelines.
